NO STRINGS

PROGRAMMES

No Strings programmes tackle issues that profoundly affect children’s lives, from health, protection and psychosocial wellbeing to disaster preparedness, peace-building and community safety.

Our programmes help children understand how malaria is spread, why hand-washing matters or how to prepare for an earthquake. Others create space to explore fear, loss, abuse, conflict or difficult choices, and we’ve also developed programmes around nutrition, HIV, environmental protection and living safely alongside wildlife.

Subjects can be very different, but the intention is the same: to give children and communities knowledge, confidence and ways to respond that can make a difference in everyday life.
