Re-Imagining the Environment

On the uniquely-beautiful, sometimes tropical, sometimes arid but always magical island of Madagascar, growing pressure on the land has brought about mass deforestation and washed away some of its vital soils.
This summer, No Strings has been shooting four new productions we’ve been working on over the last year, including this film exploring sustainable land management practices in Madagascar.
The Farmer’s Tale is an imaginative story about the value of nature and how the trees and animals themselves safeguard a family’s growing needs.

Working with our partner Catholic Relief Services, No Strings will deliver a workshop in October this year to field workers on how use our film and follow-up creative tools to effect change in at-risk communities’ farming practices.
More soon.
