The lives of many children have already been saved after they have watched the Chuchi puppet show and learned about land mine safety.

This 'Land Mine Awareness' puppet production was the first project intended to teach children and adults an important safety message. It was so successful that there has since been another five titles:

All stories that illustrate a certain theme and how to react in the best way. Children in particular seem to relate to the puppets who are non-threatening and therefore, the lesson they are teaching becomes more easily understood and is retained for the future.

The same cast of puppets run through all the stories and they also take place in and around the same village. This has proved to be a very economical way of creating a number of productions on a limited budget.  The end results have their sound tracks dubbed into several languages so as to get their messages over to as large an audience as possible.
