Fund raising events like these are always popular and can take many forms. Kareokee was the theme for this pub evening and I think the most money came from people paying the performer to stop singing!

The Chuchi Qhalin DVD can be a useful tool if you are trying to explain to people who we are and what the charity does.

The DVD includes an interesting documentary of how No Strings was formed and why the Muppet people became involved. It also shows how the puppets are made and the training of puppeteers in the correct use of these beautiful puppets.  The final production includes dubbing the soundtrack into the various local languages.

The DVD concludes with the Chuchi story told in English, which explains the reasoning behind using puppets and how a little drama and humour can get the safety message over to those who perhaps cannot read or write.

This was the first No Strings puppet story to be distributed and proved so successful that another five safety and harmony stories have been filmed.
